Preview: NWA Powerrr (7/20/21) – The Champions Series, Part 1

NWA Powerrr The Champions Series

This week, on NWA Powerrr, the National Wrestling Alliance unveils a new initiative. Enter The Champions Series, a points-based tournament that pits champions and legends against one another. In this 3-part television event, 4 teams will face off against one another for an opportunity at NWA gold. In the event that a team wins, each member and legend involved will receive an NWA title shot. If one of those individuals is a current champion, they will be able to protect their title from any challenger beneath them. It’s also worth noting that if an individual receives a title opportunity, but is either retired or chooses not to redeem it, they can transfer it to anyone the winner seems fit.

Four NWA titleholders will be paired off with four handpicked individuals; they will be co-captains for four separate teams. From there, they will choose from a host of 20 candidates in an open draft. Here are the individuals that will be involved in the first-ever Champions Series on NWA Powerrr.
