Nikki A.S.H. Wins 2021 Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match

Nikki A.S.H. Money in the Bank

In the 2021 Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder match, 8 competitors fought for a women’s championship match contract. The individuals involved, from Monday Night Raw, were Naomi, Asuka, Nikki A.S.H., and Alexa Bliss. The Friday Night SmackDown women’s competitors consisted of Liv Morgan, Zelina Vega, and the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions, Natalya and Tamina. The lineup heading into this match was strong and this was anyone’s match to win. The conclusion of this 8-woman encounter saw “Almost a Superhero” Nikki A.S.H. unhook the briefcase, seizing a women’s title opportunity in the process.

The match inched toward its conclusion when Alexa Bliss found herself attacked by the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions on the outside. From there, Natalya and Tamina stacked a series of ladders atop the supernatural former women’s champion. The other competitors joined in, piling the ladders on top of her. From there, the remaining competitors, sans Nikki A.S.H. battled on three separate ladders in the center of the ring. As they fought, Nikki scurried her way to the top of the middle ladder, sneakily unhooking the briefcase. She would then rush out of the ring, celebrating with the briefcase in front of the capacity crowd in Dickies Arena.

It’s worth noting that the current Raw Women’s Champion, Rhea Ripley, is set to do battle with Charlotte Flair later in the show. Consider that Nikki A.S.H. has had her run-ins with both women before donning her mask. It’s not unfathomable for the Money in the Bank contract holder to cash in the same night they win, as evidenced by Alexa Bliss when she won the match in 2018. Will Nikki do the same, stepping that much closer to superhero status?
