WWE Confirms Bayley Will Miss 9 Months Due to Injury

Bayley is losing her mind

WWE announced today that Bayley suffered an injury during her training and will miss 9 months of action with this injury.  She is out of her scheduled Money In The Bank match with Bianca Belair and her replacement will be announced on SmackDown tonight.

There is no such thing as a good time to get injured but Bayley getting hurt just as WWE is returning to touring with live crowds is a bummer for her and fans everywhere.  In many people’s eyes, Bayley was an MVP of the company in 2020 despite the circumstances and had continued her great work into 2021 during her feud with Bianca Belair.

Bayley was also in the midst of a seemingly massive character shift as her character was slowly descending to madness following consecutive losses to Bianca Belair, unfortunately, we may never see this new character see the light of day.  This also leaves the SmackDown women’s division in a tight spot.  Sasha Banks hasn’t been seen since her WrestleMania defeat to Belair and the women’s division on SmackDown only has 6 other women available, with Tamina and Natalya occupied with the tag team titles leaving just 4 women available to step up to Belair in Bayley’s absence.

For now, we join the entire WWE Universe in wishing Bayley a speedy recovery.
