WWE 205 Live Card – What to Expect (3/12/21)

205 Live 3/12/21

WWE‘s purple brand is not only fast but also furious. 2021 has been filled with high-flying, as well as tension-filled, rivalries. Fans have seen the Original Kings of 205 Live try and re-establish their names amongst the new faces of the brand. We have seen up and comers take everyone by surprise by their impeccable body of work in between those purples ropes. Additionally, fans have witnessed an undefeated streak that might just be unstoppable at this point. The year is just getting started and yet advocates of the brand have had more than their fair share of cruiserweight combat and more. This week will definitely not be any different, so straps yourselves in and hold on – it’s another episode of 205 Live. No matches have been officially announced as of yet. Not to worry, though: here’s a speculative preview of what could happen on this week’s show.

What To Expect On 205 Live

Still Undefeated

– Mansoor might very well be the number one contender for Santos Escobar’s NXT Cruiserweight Championship. The youngster has had an unbelievable run since coming to the WWE. He extended that winning streak against a man who he successfully teamed just a few weeks ago in “The Lone Star” Curt Stallion. The two were just having a conversation about what their tag team name should be. Things got heated very quickly and the competitive side of the two would overcome them both. Stallion laid down the challenge and, to nobody’s surprise, Mansoor would accept. The two had a barn-burner of a match. Mansoor would connect with a catapult neck breaker, sealing the win against the Lone Star. Mansoor is now 41-0. Will the streak continue or will somebody stun the sensation and break this historic run?

BollyRise Breakup?

– The Bollywood Boyz would go on the BollyCamto address what happened last week. They cost Ever-Rise the win against Stallion and Mansoor. Sunil and Samir Singh would state that they had a truce. That they thought they were only helping their friends and they would appreciate the assist. The two seem stunned by the reactions of Matt Martel and Chase Parker. They stated that if they were really friends, Ever-Rise would’ve accepted the help, but unfortunately, they didn’t. According to the boys from Bollywood, communication is key, but Martel and Parker never even bothered to communicate with them to game plan for this match, thus causing the miscommunication. Could this really be the end of BollyRise? How will the duo of Parker and Martel respond to such claims? Maybe fans will find out on this week’s show.

New Blood vs. The OGs

– A battle for brand supremacy was escalated on last week’s show. It was the team of August Grey and Jake Atlas against the OGs of the Cruiserweight brand Ariya Daivari and Tony Nese. For the second week in a row, Grey and Atlas pulled a fast one on “The Premier Athlete” and “The Persian Prince.” Much like last week, Tony Nese would go for the triangle moonsault, but the pool was empty once again. Like deja vu, August Grey hit the So Much Prettier on Nese, bagging the win for his team. With another loss for the second straight week, are the OGs being ousted by the new inhabitants of the brand or do they have one more trick up their sleeves to reclaim their land?

Legacy Reigns Supreme on 205 Live

Legado Del Fantasma made a heck of an Impact against the Grizzled Young Veterans on the latest edition of NXT. The cohorts of Santos Escobar made it known they’re still one of the most feared factions in not only NXT but 205 Live. Joaquin Wilde and Raul Mendoza reasserted their dominance by defeating GYV. Will this dominance continue on the Purple brand?

A Crushing Defeat

After weeks of dominance in 205 Live, Jake Atlas came back crashing to earth in a big way. He would fall victim to the “Bruiserweight” Pete Dunne. Atlas will undoubtedly dust himself off from this defeat. Don’t sleep on Jake one bit, because if fans know anything about him, it’s that he never backs down from anyone or anything in his young blossoming career.
