Preview: MLW FUSION – Alex Hammerstone vs. Krugger (01/27/21)

MLW FUSION 1/27/21

We are once again closing in on MLW FUSION, and tonight will be headlined by the highly anticipated rematch for the MLW National Openweight Championship. In addition to this major title match, there a few quick things to look forward to. These include Violence is Forever being in action and potentially finding out Lio Rush‘s next challenger. Lastly, we will hear more from Tom Lawlor.

MLW National Openweight Championship: Alex Hammerstone (c) vs. Krugger

These two men battled to a double count-out at Kings of Colesseum; now, a winner will be decided in a Baklei Brawl. To learn more about what the different name could entail for the match-up, I was surprised to learn “baklei” means “retaliate.” I only bring that up as it fits perfectly with the narrative of the story.

Krugger sees this as him retaliating in Contra Unit‘s war for control of MLW. Alex Hammerstone is looking to retaliate against Contra Unit by stopping their undefeated monster and avenging the many attacks the Unit has dished out.

I said before King of Colesseum that Krugger would walk away with the championship; I will repeat that sentiment. Hammerstone should be freed up to pursue Jacob Fatu and eventually dethrone him.

Here is a full rundown of the scheduled action for this upcoming episode of MLW FUSION:
