Yuzuki Aikawa Returning To Stardom For One Show

Yuzuki Aikawa

Stardom recently held a dual conference regarding their first year under BushiRoad and to talk about All Star Dream Cinderella, the 10th anniversary event that is taking place in Nippon Budokan.  It was announced during this conference that Yuzuki Aikawa would be making a one night only return to take place in the All Star Rumble which is set to feature retired Stardom wrestlers, Joshi legends, and other names.

Yuzuki Aikawa has been retired since 2013, her retirement show remains the biggest Stardom show in history as it drew 5,500 fans at Sumo Hall.  In Stardom’s early days Aikawa was one of its biggest stars thanks to her idol background which brought with it a lot of fame.  Aikawa took to wrestling like a duck to water with a style heavily based around devastating kicks and shorter match lengths.  She was the first-ever Wonder Of Stardom Champion and held the title for 618 days.

All Star Dream Cinderella is not only the biggest Stardom show in years but it is an opportunity for the company to celebrate its 10 years of history.  Getting a name like Yuzuki Aikawa to wrestle again after all this time shows how serious they are to celebrating their history with this event.  We can only hope that names like Yoko Bito and Hiromi Mimura can also be convinced to make appearances.
