On the premiere episode of Beyond Wrestling‘s new live weekly program Uncharted Territory, indie ace Joey Janela made his return to the ring by crashing the show during its main event (alongside fellow AEW signee Penelope Ford), distracting David Starr leading to a win by Masato Tanaka.

Joey Janela and David Starr made headlines last year at Beyond’s Americanrana ’18 in an instant classic barbed wire ring rope match, but Janela has spent the past six months out due to a severe knee injury that was supposed to keep him out until next year. You can watch the Americanrana ’18 match at the 2:40 mark in the video below.
Now that he’s returned to action (he returns to in-ring this weekend for Joey Janela’s Spring Break 3), it looks like Starr and Janela are picking up where they left off.
