3. Kansas City Chiefs
The Kansas City Chiefs find themselves in unfamiliar territory, owning a 2-3 record after five weeks of action. The offense has not played up to its usual level, as Travis Kelce is getting older and first-round pick Xavier Worthy is still battling a shoulder injury. While the unit should improve with the return of Rashee Rice, they should still trade for a dangerous weapon like A.J. Brown.
A.J. Brown may be on the older side, but that shouldn’t matter for a team like the Chiefs. As long as Patrick Mahomes is the quarterback, this team will always have a good chance to hoist the Lombardi Trophy at the end of the season. In a perfect world, Brown, Rice, and Worthy could give Kansas City an unstoppable trio of receivers, and the depth ensures that Mahomes will have at least one reliable receiver throughout the season.
