A.J. Brown Trade Talks Resurface After Disastrous Loss; 4 Suitors Emerge

Star wide receiver A.J. Brown is frustrated with the Philadelphia Eagles, and it’s easy to see why. Despite winning the Super Bowl last year, the offense has been inconsistent in 2025, and its inability to consistently move the ball through the air has led the team to a two-game losing streak. Brown had a strong outing on Thursday Night Football, catching six of his nine targets for 80 yards, but that hasn’t been the case throughout the season. Between his inconsistent workload, quarterback Jalen Hurts’ regression as a passer, and the team’s overall struggles, nobody should be surprised if the Eagles trade their star wideout.

A.J. Brown Trade Demands Could Resurface; 4 Suitors Emerge

The hardest part of any A.J. Brown trade is finding a way to make the contract work. Brwon signed a three-year, $96 million extension with $86 million guaranteed in 2024 that puts him under team control through the 2029 season. Given his contract status, the Eagles would need to eat a sizable amount of dead money to send him somewhere else. However, if the Eagles can make the money work, these four teams should welcome Brown with open arms.
