2. Pittsburgh Steelers
The Pittsburgh Steelers haven’t had a losing record under Mike Tomlin, but they also haven’t won a playoff game since 2016. Pittsburgh tried to end this run of mediocrity by adding big-name players like Aaron Rodgers, D.K. Metcalf, and Jalen Ramsey in the offseason. While the team currently sits at 3-1, they don’t have the offensive firepower to compete with the elite AFC teams.
That could change with an A.J. Brown trade. Rodgers is not the quarterback he once was, which means he cannot singlehandedly power an elite offense at this stage in his career. Metcalf is a legitimate weapon, but this team could use another dangerous set of hands. Brown is probably the best option available and could be the missing piece to get this team on a deep playoff run.
