With the World Cup just days away there are some final tune ups happening across the globes as competing nations aim to keep up some match fitness and maybe finalise some squad selection dilemmas. France vs Northern Ireland Confirmed Lineups & Team News
France Team News
A loss to the Ivory Coast provided quite the shock for the side as they started with a largely first-choice selection. Marcus Thuram played almost the full 90, Adrien Rabiot got over an hour, Rayan Cherki got an hour, Ibrahima Konate and Jules Kounde in the back line also got over an hour. Other stars like Michael Olise, Kylian Mbappe, and Aurelien Tchouameni got 45.
There is likely to be rotation then in this XI as those who got hefty minutes miss out for fresher options while Mbappe, Olise, and others could start on the bench and be introduced as opposed to starting and getting 45 but that is all at the manager’s discretion.
Northern Ireland Team News
The Northern Ireland team beat Guinea in a friendly just a few days ago and like their competitors used it to make changes throughout the match. Ciaron Brown was the only person to play the full 90 minutes, Shea Charles played over 80 as did Justin Devenny. We could see similar rotation from this side as they rest some of the names who played heavy minutes while those who were half-time subs could get starts this time around.
