Team News, Form and Predicted Line-Up as Oxford United Travel to Millwall

Oxford United head to Millwall for the final game of the season but Matt Bloomfield’s side have already been relegated.

Despite a confident 4-1 victory over Sheffield Wednesday last time out, results elsewhere before kick-off condemned the U’s to relegation to the third tier.

The Lions still have ambitions of a top-two finish, but, like Oxford at the weekend, are relying on results elsewhere. Alex Neil’s side drew at Leicester last time out but have suffered just one loss in their last seven.

Millwall have actually lost more games at home than they have on the road with seven defeats coming at the Den. The U’s have been better on the road this season compared to the previous campaign but have picked up maximum points just four times.

Skipper Cameron Brannagan is an injury doubt after he was forced off early against the Owls. Tyler Goodrham, Brian De Keersmaecker, Nik Prelec, Przemyslaw Placheta and Jack Currie will also miss the final game.

The Lions are without Joe Bryan, Alfie Doughty, Billy Mitchell, Daniel Kelly, Massimo Luongo, Benicio Baker-Boaitey and goalkeeper, Lukas Jensen.

Will Lankshear took his goal tally to 11 in the league with his brace against Sheffield Wednesday. Josh Coburn has ten while Femi Azeez and Mihailo Ivanovich have nine for Millwall.

Oxford are unbeaten in their last five meetings against the Lions, winning three. The reverse fixture at Grenoble Road ended in a draw but the U’s won on their last visit to the Den. In fact, Oxford have won on their last four trips to South East London.
