Crystal Palace Team News

Oliver Glasner said he was ‘hopeful’ that Daniel Munoz will be able to play some part on Sunday, but it will depend on whether he is able to ‘fully train’ on Saturday.

Jean-Phillipe Mateta could be in line to make his long-awaited return to the squad against Leeds, with the Palace boss saying: “We have just one league game and one Conference League game this month, it was the plan now to get him back and have him available.”

He said the Frenchman could get ‘a few minutes’ as he looks to build his match fitness, and suggested that the forward could eventually be played alongside Jorgen Strand Larsen to give them additional firepower up front.

On his hopes for the remainder of the season, the Austrian said: “We will try to get as many points as possible. I always want more than the season before.

“If we can achieve it, I don’t know right now, but we will definitely go into every single game to get the win.”

Leeds United Team News

Dominic Calvert-Lewin remains a doubt for the weekend, although Daniel Farke did say he is ‘carefully optimistic’ that his key man will be available. A late fitness test will likely determine how much of a part the England striker can play.

Noah Okafor is a ‘major doubt’ due to a hip injury, with the Swiss international unable to train on Friday.

When asked how many points his side required to avoid the drop, Farke said: “Seven to nine points are needed to stay in this league.

“We know in order to do this, there is still work needed, good performances needed. We are focused like always.”

On Crystal Palace, he said: “One thing is for sure, they will not underestimate us. It’s always the same when you win the first leg in the season. We have to be on it.”
