Everton have welcomed back a lot of crucial players that they were missing near the end of last year and the start of this year through AFCON, injury and suspension, and with no additions to the squad from the transfer window, this is the positive news they need to ensure they keep up their form and continue to seal important wins. However, David Moyes said players could depart before the end of the transfer window, but there is no confirmation yet.

Injuries and Suspensions

Moyes confirmed that it is likely Grealish will miss the rest of the season after his foot injury, saying: “We believe Jack Grealish is probably going to need surgery. That’s still not absolutely confirmed, but it probably rules him out for the rest of the season.” It remains unclear what the attacker’s future will be after his loan spell ends.
