Sunderland Predicted Lineup

Sunderland Predicted Lineup vs Wolves

Ninth-placed Sunderland, who have impressed so far on their Premier League return, face bottom-of-the-table and winless Wolves at the Stadium of Light on Saturday afternoon. The Black Cats will be hoping to continue their unbeaten home form and increase the misery on their opponents. Wolves will be desperate to record their first league win, but doing it in front of another sold-out crowd on Wearside could prove to be too tough for a team low on confidence.

Here is our Sunderland predicted lineup.

Goalkeeper: Robin Roefs

Sunderland Predicted Lineup vs Wolves on October 18

Goalkeeper: Robin Roefs

A string of impressive performances since signing during the summer has made him a fan favourite. An excellent shot stopper with exceptional positional sense.

Right-back: Trai Hume
The Northern Ireland international and fan favourite has adapted to the Premier League with ease. A tough-tackling fullback who likes to get forward.

Centre back: Nordi Mukiele
A right-back by trade, but he has shown how capable he is as a central defender. His long throws could be a huge problem for the Wolves’ defence.

Centre back: Omar Alderete
Was substituted while on international duty due to injury; however, it is not thought to be serious. Has impressed since signing and scored the winner at Nottingham Forest.

Left-back: Arthur Masuaku
Has much to prove following two performances that have left much to be desired. His first home start against the league’s bottom side will hopefully make a difference.
