How Much Could Wesley Cost Manchester City?
Sky Sports has reported that the Cityzens are interested in the possible signing of the Brazilian full-back in the summer window. It’s added that the 21-year-old defender is part of a list of multiple options that the club are looking into to possibly improve their right-back position heading into the 2025/26 season.

It’s also been claimed that Wesley has been scouted and tracked by multiple Premier League side so far, including Liverpool and Manchester United. This means that Pep Guardiola’s side can expect to find stiff competition for the young Brazilian if they aspire to sign him this summer.
Sky Sports also states that Wesley is considered one of the best young talents in Brazil right now and that any club wanting to sign him is expected to have to pay around £30 million to get a deal done. Reportedly, signing a right-back is one of the many areas that Manchester City aspires to improve in the summer window. They also want to improve the centre-back, centre-midfield and attacking midfield areas.
Who Could Wesley Replace at Manchester City?
There is a chance that Wesley is being touted as a possible long-term replacement for Kyle Walker at Manchester City, with the Englishman currently on loan at AC Milan. City have been forced to play midfielder Matheus Nunes in the right-back role for a number of games this season because of a lack of natural options in that position.

They could be getting a promising player in Wesley in that right-back area. The 21-year-old, who has been hailed as “exceptional” this season, has already made 127 appearances for Flamengo and had eight goal contributions (three goals, five assists) in that period. He can bring more defensive steel to Manchester City’s backline and improve their energy levels, but the Cityzens need to beat out competition from top sides for his signing.
