Team News, Form and Prediction

Gary Rowett’s side headed into their final game at Grenoble Road knowing a win would keep them in the Championship. Their last away game also came in Wales as Cameron Brannagan rescued what proved to be a vital point at Cardiff.

As for the Swans, they lost at promotion hopefuls Millwall last time out, with that defeat ending a run of four successive victories.

Oxford are without both Player’s Player and Supporters Player of the Year, Ciaron Brown while Siriki Dembele and Tom Bradshaw also missed the game against the Black Cats. Skipper Elliott Moore could start for the first time since returning from injury, but Will Vaulks will miss the trip with an ankle injury.

Swansea are without defender Kristian Pedersen while Myles Peart-Harris is a doubt for the game.

Oxford will be looking to secure just their third away win of the season in Wales, while a win for the Swans would give them the same home record as the U’s.

Oxford lost the reverse fixture at Grenoble Road but were unbeaten in the previous two on home soil, which included a famous FA Cup victory. The U’s have failed to win on their last four visits to west Wales.

Predicted line-up: Jamie Cumming, Ben Nelson, Michal Helik, Elliott Moore, Greg Leigh, Cameron Brannagan, Alex Matos, Hidde ter Avest, Ruben Rodrigues, Tyler Goodrham, Mark Harris.

Prediction: Swansea City 1-1 Oxford United
