Arsenal vs Bournemouth: Team News and Predicted Lineups

Arsenal Confirmed Lineup vs Real Madrid for April 16

This is the Arsenal confirmed lineup for their Champions League second leg with the winningest team in competition history, Real Madrid. Arsenal Team News

David Raya starts behind Jurrien Timber, Wiiliam Saliba, Jakub Kiwior and Myles Lewis-Skelly. Thomas Partey starts in midfield with Declan Rice and Martin Odegaard for some added defensive impetus. Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli, and Mikel Merino make up the front trio.

Notable Changes

Saka and Odegaard come in after being rested on the weekend with both being key to the team succeeding in this one. Partey starting again after coming off injured at the weekend appears to be an intentional decision to add some steel next to Rice in midfield with one eye on protecting their lead. The partnership of Kiwior and Saliba has been built up since Gabriel went down injured so Arteta has chosen to stick with what’s proven to work.
