Matic, who left Old Trafford in 2022 and won the Premier League multiple times with Chelsea, responded to those comments by stating: “I respect everyone then you need to give the answer. If you are one of the worst goalkeepers in Man United history then you need to take care what you are talking about.  If David de Gea, or (Edwin) Van der Saar or Peter Schmeichel say that then I would question that. But if you are statistically one of the worst goalkeepers in Man United’s history then he needs to show that before he says it. We will see.”

What Did Onana Say About Lyon?

Onana began the war of words before the game against the French side with some controversial comments that might be deemed as disrespectful by Lyon supporters. He had claimed: “We have to go there and show who we are. If we are focused, stay compact and together and follow the gameplan we will be winning the game. Of course it’s not going to be easy but I think we are way better than them.”
