Aston Villa’s most recent match, where they faced Crystal Palace, saw them switch up from their trusted 4-2-3-1 formation as Unai Emery moved to a 3-4-3 system. Emi Martinez was in goal and was protected by a back three of Axel Disasi, Ezri Konsa and Lamare Bogarde.
