Plettenberg noted that United has been “monitoring him closely for months.” However, the Red Devils are not the only side interested in signing Yoro. Bayern Munich have their sights set on him. A summer move appears most likely for the 18-year-old, who is also a part of France’s U21 squad.

Described as a “talented youngster,” the fast-rising teenage centre-back could find himself playing under Ten Hag if United can sign him this summer.
