Origi Will Join Forest on Loan from AC Milan
Romano revealed on his social media that all the formalities pertaining to Origi’s transfer to Forest have been officially completed. The deal was signed in the final hours of the transfer window on deadline day. Forest will be hoping the former Red will help them in their bid to stay in the Premier League.
The Belgian will join the Premier League club on a season-long loan from AC Milan. The Italian side have incorporated a buy option in the agreement worth £4 million. The clause is not mandatory and depends on the City Ground-based team if they want to trigger it. 100% of the 28-year-old’s salary will be covered by the Tricky Trees.
The Premier League side narrowly escaped relegation last season as they finished just four points above the drop zone. They will be hoping that the goalscoring exploits of the veteran striker will aid their aspirations to avoid a relegation battle in this term.
A Proven Goalscorer in His Time at Liverpool
The Belgium international is a proven top flight striker as he showed in his time at Anfield. He played 175 games for the six-time Champions League winners and scored 41 goals for them.
