According to Dan Kilpatrick of the Evening Standard, Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou has made it clear that his squad is too big and that it is his primary concern to ship some of his men out before the end of the summer transfer window. If successful, a selling spree could raise funds for use in the purchase of a striker that Tottenham has been linked with for weeks now.

Nigerian striker Gift Orban, who has been labeled as a “phenomenon” by his head coach, could be a prime candidate to replace Harry Kane. Changes Are Bound To Happen Quickly

Although Harry Kane, Joe Rodon, and Harry Winks have already left the club, the former Celtic has been clear that he intends for more sales before the summer transfer window is over. Following a chaotic season that resulted in an 8th-placed finish, Spurs fans will be keen to see their side fighting for European qualification.

If they fail to make a significant improvement on last year’s results, fans will undoubtedly question why sales were the priority when the club clearly needs a striker.
