‘Not Part of the Club’: Fulham Target ‘Brilliant’ Chelsea Player Who Pochettino Wants to Get Rid Of

According to Fabrizio Romano, Fulham aim to acquire Callum Hudson-Odoi after he returned from loan at the Bundesliga. Lack of Minutes for Callum Hudson-Odoi

After revealing that he accepted the loan to Bayer Leverkusen last season for more game time, his lack of appearances will continue so long as he remains a player under Mauricio Pochettino.

The relationship between player and manager can be illustrated further in the squad number selections. Alongside Romelu Lukaku and Hakim Ziyech, the “brilliant” winger is one of the players to have not received a number, all but confirming that his time has run out as a Chelsea player.

How the Exit Affects Chelsea Incomings

Although it would be preferable to ship the Wandsworth-born footballer to a club outside of England, the deal could be necessary with other incomings like  Michael Olise rumored to be linked with the 12th-place finishers. While it is a shame that he could not fulfill his potential with his current team, his young age, combined with the skills he has displayed so far, will surely help him excel somewhere.
