According to the report from Guest, Spurs are finally expected to bid for a defender, which according to the update will be Adarabioyo from Fulham. According to the report, many fans have questioned why Daniel Levy has failed to deliver the centre-back reinforcements desperately needed by Ange Postecoglu. Tottenham held talks earlier this summer with Bayer Leverkusen and Wolfsburg respectively over Edmond Tapsoba and Micky Van de Ven.

Career Recap for Tosin Adarabioyo

Adarabioyo came through the Manchester City academy before showing his class on loan with West Brom and Blackburn Rovers. While at Blackburn, he was described as “exceptional.” The Manchester-born defender started 23 games for Fulham last season under the tutelage of Marco Silva.

What Qualities Adarabioyo Will Bring to Spurs

The Englishman is comfortable on the ball and excels when passing, seemingly an improvement on a Spurs defence that bordered on chaos at times last season. He’s also not afraid to put his foot in, adding some much-needed steel to the Tottenham backline.

For a team that struggled so much defensively last season, if Tottenham sign Adarabioyo, it’s hard to imagine him being the only new defensive recruit for Postecoglu.
