Manchester United fans have noticed an app notification that seems to indicate some big news that may be coming from Old Trafford shortly, and there are now reports from reliable sources to back up their claims.

What Was the Notification and What Does it Mean?
Fans of the Red Devils noticed – and started to get excited about – a discrete potential update on Alejandro Garnacho in a notification from the club’s official app.

The notification read: “If you’re a true fan of Alejandro, then you’ll score at least seven out of 10 😉”.

Alongside this, several additional posts about Garnacho were made on the official United app this afternoon, leading fans to hypothesize that this could be building up to a potential announcement that the winger would be given the number seven shirt.
This comes amidst rumours that the Manchester side are considering giving the Argentinian wonderkid this coveted shirt number.
Garnacho has burst onto the scene at Old Trafford over the last year or so, becoming a vital part of Erik ten Hag’s setup. Improving all the time, the teenager still has a way to go, but seems to be showing all the right signs, and some fans want to see him rewarded for this by being given the prestigious number seven jersey.
Others, though, aren’t so sure, and don’t want him to be pressured so early in his career.
Either way, it seems highly unlikely that Garnacho will not see immense success within the next few years, and fans will hope this is on the red side of Manchester after he signed a new 5-year contract in April.
