According to a report from Chris Wheeler of the Daily Mail, Harry Maguire’s last game at Manchester United is set to be the FA Cup final on Saturday.
Given that manager Erik ten Hag has not tended to trust the Englishman in big games this season, it is likely that Maguire will not even touch the field when his side defend their historic treble against Manchester City, and as such it is entirely probable that he has played his last game in a Manchester United shirt.

Harry Maguire Has Likely Played Last Game at Manchester United
A Tough Time at Old Trafford
Signed for £80 million in the summer of 2020, Harry Maguire moved to Manchester with a lot of expectations on his shoulders.
The centre-back had been impressive for the now relegated Leicester City, providing an imposing presence in the defence while also able to progress the ball forwards with great effect.
There was hope that he would be able to refine this playing for the Red Devils, and initially he seemed to be moving in the right direction, but during the last two seasons in particular the United captain has struggled immensely.
Under former boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, Maguire was a mainstay in the backline and became so important that his absence in the 2021 Europa League final was seen as disastrous and one of the main reasons for the Red Devils’ defeat.
More recently, though, the “embarrassing” Englishman’s performances have started to go downhill, and he has barely had a look in under Erik ten Hag. New Signings Lisandro Martinez and Raphael Varane have become the centre-back pairing of choice at the Theatre of Dreams, and when both of them were injured, Victor Lindelof and Luke Shaw were Ten Hag’s preferred makeshift duo at the heart of the defence.
Maguire started United’s last game of the 2022/23 campaign against Fulham, and judging by this report that will be seen as something of a goodbye for the captain.
