“Minor details” are still to be sorted out before Chelsea’s new superstar transfer, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang can be announced, as revealed by Simon Johnson of the Athletic.
He has added that there shouldn’t be any major problems, so Chelsea should get their man. Aubameyang arrived in London earlier today for medical tests, saying “I’m back” to the cameras.

Aubameyang Closer to Becoming a Blue
The Gabonese international is close to becoming a Blues striker after an agreement was made between Barcelona and Chelsea in a deal involving £12 million and Marcos Alonso going the opposite way.

Aubameyang has been a target for Chelsea in the past few weeks due to their problems in front of goal in the Premier League without a recognised striker. The Blues currently lie in tenth position after a poor result against Southampton on Tuesday. Their need for a clinical striker were there for all to see, taking ten shots and only scoring once.

What Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang Will Bring to Stamford Bridge
Hopefully for Chelsea, goals. The striker scored 92 goals in 163 games for Arsenal in his last London venture, and will be looking to add to his Premier League tally of 68. While only playing 24 times for Barcelona, the Gabonese international still managed 13 goals.

Chelsea are set to play Arsenal in November in the last game before the start of the FIFA World Cup. After having left Arsenal in awkward circumstances, Aubameyang will be wanting to leave his mark on the current league toppers, after being frozen out by manager Mikel Arteta.
Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel will have to make sure that he keeps Aubameyang on his side because on his day he is a handful for defenders.
