Lewandowski Gets His Desire for Move to la Liga

The 34-year-old forward made his intentions of wanting to leave Bayern Munich clear at the end of last season, insisting that he is craving a new journey in his career. While the Bundesliga champions were unwilling to sell him initially, they softened their stance after the acquisition of Sadio Mane from Liverpool and finalized a pretty good deal with the La Liga side.

Barcelona will pay around £38.3 million (€45 million) for the Polish striker with a possible £4.25 million (€5 million) more in performance-related bonuses. The striker will also pocket decent pay from the deal, earning around £7.66 million-a-year (€9 million) wages for the next three years, according to Fabrizio Romano.
