The World Cup brings with it an interesting summer as some of the biggest players in the game get to show their stuff on the world’s stage. This also means teams are eager to get deals done and squads reshaped as a number of major clubs are set to appoint new managers and find a new identity. As a proven winner with Argentina his leadership skills and winning nous make him a very attractive signing.
He is not on here without merit or whispers, the former Benfica man has been teasing a move away already, speaking very positively about Madrid and a possible move there in interviews already. There have also been some rumours abound that Manchester City could be interested as they continue to overhaul their ageing squad with Enzo Maresca reportedly lined up as their next manager.
It would prove difficult to keep the midfielder if both sides made their interest a reality, particularly with him already showing some desire to leave.
Kylian Mbappe
Things have not gone to plan for the Frenchman since his high profile move from Paris Saint-Germain to Real Madrid. Los Blancos have fallen apart, going trophyless in this campaign with constant reports of player mutiny, squad infighting, and a toxic environment that pushed out Xabi Alonso.

With a Champions League under his belt, he forms a part of their attacking unit which can see he, Desire Doue, Kvicha Kvaratskhelia, or Ousmane Dembele operate as a fluid trio who can switch positions at will and confuse opposing defenders.

With his attacking abilities and a relative lack of minutes in crunch time, it comes as no surprise that Premier League teams are already sniffing around the winger. More on here for his ability than any concrete rumours, Julian Alvarez has found the regular starts he was seeking at Atletico Madrid. There is no reason to believe he’s unhappy there but a player of his ability can’t go ignored for long. Having already proven his talents at Manchester City, he is likely to field interest from major clubs in the off-season and could have his head turned.
