Monaco Midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni Looks Tied to Real Madrid Move

Aurelien Tchouameni

The future of Monaco midfield star Aurelien Tchouameni looks tied to Real Madrid. In fact, Tchouameni dreams of playing for Los Blancos and has communicated his intentions to join them with his teammates, according to Fabrizio Romano.

The price for the player will be steep, but Real Madrid have a change in summer transfer plans after Kylian Mbappe decided to stay at Paris Saint-Germain.

Aurelien Tchouameni Move May Be to Spain

An Impressive Prospect

First off, Tchouameni is only 22-years-old. His playing style is exemplary, as he constantly shined for Monaco and pushed them all the way to third in the Ligue 1 table. There’s still plenty of room for him to grow, meaning Tchouameni is well on his way to becoming a world-class player.

Now, of course, Real Madrid are always on the lookout for emerging young talent. The team seems to always strike gold, and some recent examples include the likes of Eduardo Camavinga, Vinicius Junior, and Rodrygo. Tchouameni may very well be next in line.

He appeared in 35 Ligue 1 matches this season as a defensive midfielder, and even scored three goals and provided two assists. Tchouameni is also already a France national team player.

Outside of the pure talent standpoint, there are other reasons why Real Madrid is showing interest. The team’s midfield core, of course, is getting older. For this reason, reinforcements are in consideration. This includes Luka Modric, Toni Kroos, and Casemiro. Modric is 36-years-old and the oldest of the bunch. Kroos is 32-years-old and Casemiro is 30-years-old. They remain very talented, however, but Real Madrid are planning for both now and the future.

Camavinga is shining for the club at 19-years-old. Federico Valverde is also quite a strong player at 23-years-old. Tchouameni can complete the new trifecta, which seems to be the club’s plan.
