Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Denis Zakaria has joined Serie A side Juventus, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The 25-year-old, who was out of contract in the summer, has put pen to paper on a long-term deal that will see him stay in Italy until 2026.

Swiss Midfielder to Bolster Juve Midfield
Denis Zakaria has been a target for Max Allegri for a while, and now the Old Lady have finally landed the 25-year-old. The Swiss international is a strong, defensive midfielder and will fit perfectly into Juve’s system.
Juventus have a solid midfield and plenty of options but the arrival of Zakaria will add depth and competition for places, although the future of some players remain in doubt.
Rodrigo Bentancur Replacement
After Tottenham Hotspur reached an agreement for midfielder Rodrigo Bentacur, the arrival of Zakaria will be positive news for fans of the Serie A side.
Uruguay international Bentancur switched Turin for Tottenham having won three Serie A titles during his time in Italy. While Zakaria is yet to pick up any accolades, he provides all the attributes to be a key component of a title or trophy-winning side.
Zakaria made over 150 appearances for the German club, having arrived from Swiss side Young Boys in 2017. His experience at club level, coupled with 40 caps for Switzerland, will be important ahead of his start to life in Italy.
Good Business From Juventus
Having sold Bentancur for a reported €19 million, Juventus have been smart to acquire Zakaria for just €5 million.
Although he was out of contract in the summer, Juve needed to act quickly in replacing Bentancur and the Italian side have certainly wasted no time.
Fifth-placed Juventus welcome Verona on Sunday, January 6 following the recent international break where Zakaria will be hoping to make his Juve bow.
