Norwich City have confirmed that manager Daniel Farke has signed a new deal with the club, which will keep him in charge until the summer of 2025.

Farke guided Norwich back to the Premier League at the first time of asking as they won the 2020/21 Championship title. It is the second time that Farke has taken the Canaries into the top flight during his four years in charge.
Daniel Farke: ‘Over the Moon’
Farke himself was delighted at the new deal and expressed his gratitude for the continued support and trust the club have shown him.
Speaking to the club’s official website, he said: “I’m absolutely over the moon and feel pretty emotional in such a moment. I’m unbelievably grateful for all of the trust and support.
“It is a pleasure to be allowed to continue to work on this level with such a special club and our unbelievable owners, Delia and Michael.”
Farke will now continue to work on preparing his team for the upcoming Premier League season and look to guide them to safety and build from there. In the 2019/20 season, Farke’s Norwich played some attractive football and famously beat Manchester City at Carrow Road, but a lack of depth in his squad along with inconsistency on the pitch meant they were relegated back to the Championship.
Trust and Stability Key
It would have been easy for the club to sack Farke following that relegation but they maintained their trust in the manager and sporting director Stuart Webber expressed his happiness at the new deal.
He said: “It’s great news for the football club. Daniel and his staff have been a huge part of what we are building and to tie them down to new deals was one of our key objectives at the start of the summer.
“We’re in an uncertain world at this moment in time, so to have some stability and security at the football club is important.”
Farke and Norwich ran riot in the Championship on their way back to the Premier League, amassing a record-breaking 97 points.
