Miguel Guerrero Swaps Nottingham Forest For Spain

The 30-year-old striker departs after a difficult spell at the City Ground, managing just 11 appearances and without scoring a goal.

His last appearance came in the FA Cup defeat to Swansea City late last month – his first outing for the Reds since a 3-1 defeat to Brentford on December 12.

The move allows Guerrero, a striker out of favour under boss Chris Hughton, to reignite his playing career.

Since his arrival at Forest in the summer under Sabri Lamouchi, the striker has struggled to hit the ground running.

Even when leading striker Lewis Grabban spent a period on the sidelines, academy forward Will Swan was preferred over the Spaniard.

Forest Fans Clear Consensus in Support Over Guerrero Depart

Guerrero’s departure has far from divided Nottingham Forest supporters. The striker has hardly lived up to expectations and, as a result, do not feel too disheartened over his exit.
