According to Fabrizio Romano, Inter Milan and Roma are considering a swap deal for Edin Dzeko and Alexis Sanchez.
With time running out to complete a deal, and the complications of it clear, the two clubs may struggle to come to an arrangement.
The deal, though complicated, would suit both parties. Inter Milan would be getting adequate backup for Romelu Lukaku, and Roma would be adding yet another tricky winger to their ranks.
If the deal does happen, Sanchez will have the chance to link up with Henrik Mkhitaryan who he infamously replaced at Manchester United.

Another Failed Move for Alexis Sanchez
A move to Inter Milan was meant to revitalise Alexis Sanchez’ career. Instead, it has had little impact on it. Away from the scrutiny of Old Trafford, the former Arsenal man has quietly failed to deliver at the San Siro- scoring just six times in 51 appearances.
Now, with a move to Roma reportedly on the cards, he’ll once again hope to find his best form to prove several doubters wrong.
As for Edin Dzeko, should he leave Roma, he’ll leave behind some legacy. The former Manchester City forward has scored 114 goals in 242 appearances for the Italian side.
Despite approaching 35, he has still delivered the goals for Roma in the Serie A. With that in mind, any deal which sees Dzeko leave the club is a strange thought when considering all that he has to offer. The forward offers experience, goals and a much-needed presence to lead the Roma frontline.
The thought of having a player of Alexis Sanchez’ calibre may attract those at Roma, but, they must ask themselves, is it worth losing Edin Dzeko to another Italian side for the sake of securing Sanchez?
