Facundo Pellistri is set to seal a loan move away from Manchester United and join either Club Brugge or Deportivo Alaves according to Jonathan Shrager.
Facundo Pellistri to Join Club Brugge or Deportivo Alaves on Loan
Highly Rated at Manchester United
The 19-year-old joined the Red Devils ahead of the current campaign and although he is highly rated by all at the club (and a lot of people in world football) there is currently not a lot of chances for first-team football at the club.
To get the player some experience, Ole Gunner Solksjaer is prepared to let the youngster leave on loan this transfer window. There are two teams for the player to choose from according to these reports and they are Club Brugge and Deportivo Alaves.
Pellistri has played football in Uruguay, his native country, so far in his career and is yet to really test himself at a higher level and this provides him with that opportunity.
Celta Vigo Also Keen But Now Out of the Running
Celta Vigo were believed to also be interested in a short-term deal for the player but they are no longer in the running – instead, it is either Belgium or Spain for the forward.
Pellistri has only played for United’s second team so far, with three goal contributions in six games for the club. He’s still only young and in search of valuable experience in the European game and a loan move this transfer window would provide the player with the chance to get that for the remainder of the current season.
Facundo Pellistri to Decide on Either Club Brugge or Deportivo Alaves
Pellistri now has a choice to make of whether he wants to battle in the Belgian league for Club Brugge or whether to swap England for sunny Spain and try and help Deportivo Alaves push further up the La Liga table.
Manchester United will then be hoping he can return to the Premier League side with the experience to potentially crack on for the Red Devils.
