Norwich City boss Daniel Farke is hopeful of keeping Emi Buendia at the club this transfer window despite reported interest from Arsenal in the player.
Daniel Farke Confident of Keeping Emi Buendia Despite Arsenal Interest
Joined Norwich From Getafe
The 24-year-old joined the English side from Getafe in Spain back in 2018 and has steadily impressed at the club.
So much so that Arsenal are now ready to try and tempt the player to leave the Canaries and make the move from the Championship and into the Premier League.
Despite claims that talks have already taken place over a potential move this transfer window, Norwich boss Daniel Farke has claimed he is hopeful of keeping the player this month.
Farke is 99 Per Cent Sure of Keeping Buendia
In fact, he went as far as saying that he was ’99 per cent sure’ that he will be able to keep Buendia.
He said: “Nothing will happen with Emi Buendia this month. In this business, you can’t confirm something with 100 per cent guarantee, but I’d label it 99 per cent.”
Mikel Arteta is on the lookout for players to improve Arsenal’s team, with the Gunners flailing in the league so far and struggling to compete with their usual rivals at the top end of the table.
He believes that Buendia could provide the touch needed in the team to help the team compete again at the top of the Premier League – and is hoping to try and seal a deal for him as soon as he can.

However, Daniel Farke is not wanting to part with one of his best players and would rather keep hold of the player for as long as possible despite this interest from Premier League.
It appears that Farke is confident he can keep him and also use him for the rest of this season as they bid to get promotion back to the Premier League at the first time of asking for the Championship side.
