After spending last season on loan at Bayern Munich, winning the Champions League along the way, Ivan Perišić looks increasingly likely to complete a permanent move this summer. According to Fabrizio Romano, Bayern’s first bid of £12 million was rejected with Inter unwilling to accept any offer below £15 million for the winger.
Talks will continue to take place as Bayern Munich manager Hansi Flick looks to bring the Croatian back on a permanent basis this summer.

Will Perišić Recieve Game Time at Bayern Munich?
Last season, Perišić received a respectable amount of game time. The 31-year-old often rotated with Kingsley Coman on the wing in the Bundesliga and Champions League, making a total of 35 appearances.
It has to be said, however, with the arrival of Leroy Sané, Perišić may struggle for game time should he make the permanent switch to Bayern. The Croatian could end up being the third choice when it comes to Hansi Flick’s left-wing options.
He is not getting any younger in comparison to those who share his position, either, and will want plenty of game time to see out his last years, something that will not be promised at Bayern Munich.
Could Others Compete for Perišić’s Signature?
At £15 million, a club will fail to find a better winger on the market in Ivan Perišić. This could see a whole flock of teams attempt to secure the signature of the Croatian this summer. Essentially, a club will be paying the price of a squad player when, in fact, they’ll be receiving a world-class player.
As it stands, only Bayern Munich have shown significant interest in the winger, but, as time goes on, more clubs could come looking for the seemingly cheap Croatian. The Bundesliga champions will have to act quickly and efficiently in their pursuit of Perišić to avoid any issues when securing the deal.
