Harvey Elliott is undoubtedly one of the best young talents in the Premier League and is now set to be rewarded for that talent with his first professional contract at Liverpool. The news from The Athletic’s James Pearce comes as no surprise after the 17-year-old became the youngest player to appear in a League Cup fixture for Liverpool. Liverpool’s Future

Elliott is living out the dream right now, playing for the very club he supported when growing up; a dream that has only just begun. He looks set to be one of the poster boys of Liverpool’s future alongside the likes of Curtis Jones

It is clear that Klopp is a fan and it is clear that he is already known amongst the fans after playing his part in the FA Cup progression against Shrewsbury Town.

After getting the first taste of Anfield stardom in December, Elliott will be desperate to grace the famous turf once more in the near future.

The signing of Elliott from Fulham last summer could go down as Liverpool’s smartest. By securing the signature of the youngest player to ever feature in the Premier League, Liverpool may have secured their star man for the future who could pick up his first Premier League winners medal at just 17-years-old at the end of the season.

With the likes of Mohamed Salah to learn from, Elliott has all the tools to go to be a fantastic Premier League player. There should come a time when Liverpool’s faith in the youngster pays off in the form of trophies; Elliott simply looks destined for greatness at Liverpool under Klopp.
