Chelsea Urged to Avoid Manchester United Target Duo Jadon Sancho and Jude Bellingham
Earning European Interest
The young pair have earned much interest across Europe this season with their excellent performances.
Sancho has been exceptional in the Bundesliga this season for Borussia Dortmund. Having netted on 14 occasions, and assisted 15 goals, the Englishman has been one of the best players in Germany’s top flight this campaign. In the charts, he is third for goals, second in assists and first for both combined. Having recently turned 20, Sancho can still further improve and this is a very attractive prospect for Manchester United.
16-year-old Jude Bellingham has played a vital part in the Birmingham City team this season. Having become the youngest player to appear for the club at the beginning of the campaign, he has established himself as a regular in their midfield but is extremely likely to leave in the summer. With many clubs interested, Manchester United, Chelsea and Borussia Dortmund are the three who have emerged at the front of the race, and with his incredible maturity at such a young age, he certainly deserves this admiration.
Perfect Fit at Manchester United
Both of these young talents would be a perfect fit at Manchester United. Not only do they fit into Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s young and British rebuild criteria, but they fit into the squad too. Sancho would slot into the right-wing position, and would undoubtedly be the first choice there. Bellingham would also be likely to get game-time for United, but they may loan him straight back to Birmingham.
Chelsea Urged to Avoid Them by Sinclair
Sinclair believes that these starlets may not be the best fit at Chelsea.
“Jadon Sancho is a fantastic player and a great talent but he plays in similar positions to the likes of Callum Hudson-Odoi and Willian, so there will be tough competition for places if he does join in the summer”, he said.
“You look at the youngsters coming through the ranks at Chelsea and you’d say that there are better players coming through the academy than Bellingham anyway”.
“I think Bellingham needs to [be] very wary of his next move.”
