Manchester United Transfer Rumours

Gareth Bale

The Sun’s Phil Thomas reports that Real Madrid winger Gareth Bale could join Manchester United as early as January. If he does not, Los Blancos are almost certain that he will do next summer instead.

Bale almost left Madrid in the summer just gone for the Chinese Super League, but his side blocked the move at the last minute, reportedly after they had heard of United’s interest.

It’s reported that Madrid want to use Bale in a deal that will see Paul Pogba make the move to Spain. In order for that to happen, the Welshman would need to lower his wage of £650,000 per week, and it could still take a bumper fee with his contract running until 2022.

Jadon Sancho

Meanwhile, United’s pursuit of Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund could depend on the future of Neymar at Paris Saint-Germain, according to the Express’ Neil Fissler.

PSG are reported to have made Sancho their number one target given the uncertainty around Neymar’s future at the club, thus hijacking a bid of £120 million made by United.

Sancho is not short of suitors though, with Real Madrid, Liverpool and Juventus all interested in doing a deal for the 19-year-old.

Matheus Pereira

Finally, Tom Hopkinson of the Mirror reports that United are keeping a close eye on West Bromwich Albion winger Matheus Pereira. The 23-year-old is currently on loan at the Hawthorns from Sporting Lisbon and has quickly become a firm favourite with the Baggies.

West Brom reportedly have an option to buy Pereira for £8.25 million, but this is not expected to put other teams off from attempting to make him their man.

Manchester City Could Move for Coman

Manchester City are said to be interested in signing Kingsley Coman if Bayern Munich lure Leroy Sane away from the Etihad, according to Sky Sports. Sane’s proposed move back to Germany was one of the biggest transfer stories of the summer and rumours appear to not be going away.

Pep Guardiola previously managed Coman for a season during his time at Bayern and it appears he is keen to work with the Frenchman again.

Coman has made a total of 139 appearances for Bayern, scoring 28 goals.

PSG Plotting Shock Move for Adam Lallana

Neil Moxley of the Mirror reports that PSG are planning to make a surprise move for Liverpool midfielder Adam Lallana.

The Englishman has been on the fringes of the Reds’ side for a number of seasons now under Jurgen Klopp, playing backup to their abundance of central midfielders. The former Southampton man did, though, notch the equalising goal for Liverpool away at Manchester United this season.

It’s thought that any money made on the deal could help fund Liverpool’s proposed move for Bournemouth winger Ryan Fraser. Meanwhile, it would help keep PSG’s squad numbers balanced if Edinson Cavani makes a move to LA Galaxy.

Everton Aiming to End Striking Woes

Everton are planning a move for Eintracht Frankfurt forward Goncalo Paciencia, according to Goal.

Marco Silva’s side have been short of firepower up front this season, with Richarlison and Dominic Calvert-Lewin the joint-top scorers in all competitions with five each.

Cenk Tosun and Moise Kean have hit just one goal between them this season, although Tosun’s strike did prove to be a 97th-minute equaliser against Tottenham Hotspur.
