With Euro 2020 fast approaching, all potential international players will want to impress their national sides in the coming months. One such player is Dani Ceballos, who is spending the season on loan at Arsenal from Real Madrid.
The player has spoken publicly about the fact he is enjoying the move and a new report has surfaced which indicates the player wants his permanent future resolved in January.
Dani Ceballos: Midfielder Wants Future Sorted Out in January
Euro 2020
When asked about his permanent future in the October international break, Dani Ceballos had plenty to say: “When I do not play, I don’t enjoy myself. I have learnt a lot in these two years at Real Madrid, but now I am enjoying [my football].
“I knew that it was an important year, the coach [for Spain, Robert Moreno] has doubts and the one who doesn’t play isn’t going to be called up; it was a good time to go out on loan. With [Unai] Emery’s confidence, I may have a chance of going to the Euros.
“Right now I am where I want to be and I am very happy. My idea was to go out, play and enjoy football. In the previous two years I had not done so.”
New Report
A juicy new rumour from El Desmarque states that Dani Ceballos has met with Florentino Perez to push for a permanent move away from the club. The former Real Betis man prioritizes first team football and knows he won’t get it in Madrid.
Ceballos reportedly hopes to have his future sorted out in January, even if a transfer cannot happen until the summer. However, the fee could prove a stumbling block.
Real Madrid will ask for at least £40 million, although could demand more should the player’s performances pick up. Ceballos has scored just one goal and bagged two assists across all competitions this season for Arsenal.
