Transfer Rumours – Manchester United

Speculation continues to mount over where Sporting Lisbon midfielder Bruno Fernandes will move to. However, according to Matt Maltby of the Daily Mirror, Manchester United have made an offer for the 24-year-old Portuguese international.

Fernandes was influential for Sporting during the 2018/19 season. He scored 31 goals in all competitions, which saw him win the 2018/19 Primeira Liga Player of the Year.

As a result, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is keen to add Fernandes to his options in midfield.

Arsenal Looking To Add To Midfield Options?

Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo write that Arsenal are close to sealing the signing of Dani Ceballos from Real Madrid. It is believed to be an initial loan with the option to buy.

Ceballos has found it tough for appearances since his move to the Bernabeu in 2017. Many of his appearances have come from the bench, and as a result he is looking to move away from the Spanish capital.

Alongside Ceballos, Arsenal manager Unai Emery is still actively pursuing a deal for Celtic left-back Kieran Tierney. According to David Verman of the Independent, their latest bid for the Scotsman was rejected.

Everton To Bolster Attacking Options?

According to Jason Burt of the Telegraph, Everton are keen on signing Juventus striker Mario Mandzukic.

The Croatian’s future in Italy appears to be unclear. As a result, he may look to move away from the Serie A champions. Last season he scored ten goals in all competitions.

It would signal a statement of intent from Everton manager Marco Silva, who is looking to lead Everton back to the Europa League for the first time in two years.
