Andre Dozzell Linked to PL Clubs

Andre Dozzell, Ipswich Town’s fit again young star is being linked to a move to the Premier League. Crystal Palace, Bournemouth and Brighton are all believed to be interested. The 19-year-old midfielder suffered a cruciate ligament injury on the opening day of last season. However, he is now fit again and has featured 11 times this season.

Dozzell has represented England at various levels up to and including Under-20’s. Ipswich value their young star at £5 million. With the Tractor Boys bottom of the Championship, they may be tempted to cash in to fund new signings.

Brentford Reveal Asking Price for Maupay

Championship side Brentford may have priced out clubs interested in their star Neal Maupay. Aston Villa were recently linked with the forward and hoped to secure a deal worth around £6 million. However, their valuation now appears to be well short of what Brentford would want. The Bees have indicated that they would not entertain a transfer for less than £20 million.

Maupay has scored 16 goals so far this season and is attracting interest from other clubs. His old boss Dean Smith, now at Villa is a big admirer as are Middlesbrough. Premier League strugglers Huddersfield are also reportedly monitoring the situation. However, with Brentford setting their minimum price for Maupay, clubs may now switch their attention elsewhere.

Dunne and Grigg to Sunderland?

League One Promotion chasers Sunderland could be set to sign two new players. The Black Cats are hoping to sign Burnley defender Jimmy Dunne on loan. The 21-year-old impressed on loan at Hearts during the first half of the season.

His form earned him a call-up to the Republic of Ireland squad. Sunderland boss Jack Ross is hoping that this deal will be completed very soon. Another player linked with a move to Wearside is Wigan striker Will Grigg. The Northern Ireland international was a star for Wigan as they gained promotion last season.

He has seen his chances this season limited and a loan move could be ideal for all concerned. Grigg has an excellent scoring record in League One and could be an excellent addition to Jack Ross’s squad.

Joe Hart to Preston?

Former England number one Joe Hart is being linked to Preston North End. Hart only signed for Burnley in the summer but with Tom Heaton and Nick Pope now fit, chances could be limited. Preston are interested in a loan deal to bolster their options in goal.

North End originally enquired about Heaton, but this was before his recall to the first-team. Whether Hart or Burnley are interested in a deal remains to be seen, but with competition at Burnley fierce, Hart could be tempted.

Mansfield star CJ Hamilton Wanted

Mansfield Town’s star winger CJ Hamilton is being monitored by Championship clubs. Hamilton has been in excellent form this season and Mansfield are keen to keep him. West Brom and Preston are among those who are interested in one of League Two’s hottest properties.

A fee of around £750,000 has been rumoured but Mansfield are in no hurry to sell. The club are chasing promotion to League One and are desperate to keep Hamilton. This is unlikely to deter interested clubs and a firm bid could be imminent.
