Latest on Marcos Rojo, Fabinho, Ramsey and Zidane

Marcos Rojo to Everton?

Reports are suggesting that Everton have opened talks with Manchester United to buy Marcos Rojo. The Argentina international signed a long-term contract in May but has yet to feature this season, albeit mainly due to injury. Jose Mourinho is desperate to overhaul his defence and Rojo could be the first to make way.

Everton are keen to add defensive additions to their squad and Rojo is high on their list. With just weeks to go before the transfer window opens, Marco Silva appears eager to do business early. It is believed that the defender would cost in the region of £18 million.

Fabinho to Leave Anfield?

Liverpool’s Brazilian international Fabinho could be set to leave just months after arriving. The midfielder has struggled for game time since his £40 million arrival and Italian giants AC Milan appear to be interested. Milan will be able to offer the midfielder the game time he craves; however, it is yet unclear whether Liverpool are willing to sell.

Fabinho has struggled to adapt to the English game and also Jurgen Klopp’s style of play. Milan are keen to strengthen their midfield and see Fabinho as an ideal signing. A move, should the price be right, could suit all concerned.

Ramsey Off to Germany?

Reports in Germany are suggesting that Bayern Munich are leading the chase for Aaron Ramsey. The Welsh international is out of contract next summer and can negotiate a move from January. The midfielder has played close to 350 games for the Gunners since he signed in 2008. However, this will be his last season at the Emirates.

It was expected that Ramsey would extend his stay at Arsenal; however, their offer of a contract extension was removed. German champions, Bayern Munich, could be looking to overhaul their squad next summer and Ramsey could be the first to arrive.

Bayern Want Zidane

Someone else who could be heading to Munich is French legend, Zinedine Zidane. The former Real Madrid boss is reportedly wanted to replace current Bayern manager Niko Kovac. Kovac is currently under pressure with his side lying fifth in the table and seven points behind leaders Borussia Dortmund.

Zidane, who won three consecutive Champions Leagues with Real Madrid had been tipped to be the next Manchester United boss; however, he now appears to be on Bayern’s wanted list with the Germans favourite to secure his signature.
