Leicester Team News

Tuesday’s defeat perfectly epitomised a dismal Leicester season. A poor first half, which couldn’t be made up for in the second; leading to more points dropped. With relegation wrapped up, Gary Rowett may elect for change. The majority of the players featuring regularly are likely to move on, which would make it fitting to play the youngsters.

Jordan James remains the only major injury concern, with him unlikely to start. There are also other players that may drop out, especially as there is now no need to take risks. Rowett said: “I think there will be players who have been trying to get through some of the games, and of course, when you get to this situation, maybe at this point you have to make slightly more sensible decisions with one of two.” On a more positive note, Aaron Ramsey and Harry Souttar have been on the bench lately. Both have struggled with injuries for the past two seasons; a shame given the quality they could have added to the side.

Milwall Team News

As for the visitors, they are riding the highs of a win in midweek. They swept aside Stoke City in convincing fashion with a two-goal deficit. The likes of Southampton and Ipswich are applying the pressure for second place, thus making this clash in Leicester all the more important.

Last time out against Stoke, Billy Mitchell and Alfie Doughty were assessed but couldn’t make the bench. They make their returns at King Power Stadium. Moreover, Dan Kelly, Massimo Luongo and Lukas Jensen make up the long-term absences. The healthy amount of squad depth that the Lions have may come into play against Leicester. The likes of Barry Bannan, Macaulay Langstaff and Mihailo Ivanovic were all options off the bench last time out.
