Team News, Form and Predicted Line-Up

Wrexham won 2-0 at home against Stoke last time out to move to within two points of the playoff spots after Hull were held to a draw by Birmingham. The Welsh side, who had lost to the Blues themselves and Southampton before that victory over the Potters, have just two wins from their last six league games.

Oxford drew a blank in front of goal for just the second time in the last ten games. As for Wrexham, they’ve only failed to find the back of the net in one of their last 14 games, which includes scoring twice in an FA Cup clash against Chelsea.

Wrexham have a good record on the road this season with eight wins and seven draws from 21 games. The U’s have lost more home games than the Red Dragons have on the road.

Josh Windass took his league tally to 13 goals against Stoke and has four in his last five while second-top scorer Kieffer Moore is on 11 but hasn’t found the net since February.

Przemyslaw Placheta is the latest injury blow with the Pole joining Tyler Goodrham and Brian De Keersmaecker on the sidelines for the rest of the campaign. Nik Prelec remains absent while Jack Currie is available but is likely to be rested.

Wrexham have some key players out, including Ben Sheaf, Liberato Cacace, Aaron James, Zak Vyner and Thomas O’Connor.

Wrexham won the reverse fixture at the Racecourse Ground and are unbeaten in the last 13 league meetings between the two clubs. The Red Dragons have visited Grenoble Road twice and were victorious on both occasions.
