Oxford United will be looking to bounce back from their uninspiring defeat at Swansea when the U’s travel to Blackburn.
Gary Rowett’s side lost 2-0 in South Wales but the display was concerning, particularly given the previous three game unbeaten run which included an impressive victory over Ipswich.

Team News, Form and Predicted Line-Up
As for Blackburn, they suffered a second home abandonment of the season after their game against Sheffield Wednesday was called off during the fixture due to a waterlogged pitch. And, like last time against Ipswich, they had a 1-0 lead when the decision was made.
Rovers conceded a stoppage time equaliser when the rearranged Ipswich fixture took place last week and have failed to win in their last three league games. They are also without a win in their previous three games at Ewood Park. In fact, they’ve picked up just one win and two draws from nine home fixtures.
Oxford are still without Matt Phillips, Brodie Spencer and Cameron Brannagan while Przemyslaw Placheta has also been sidelined for the next few games.
Blackburn are without several players, including Hayden Carter, Jake Garrett, Ryan Hedges, Augustus Kargbo, Kristi Montgomery, Balasz Toth, Sondre Tronstad and Scott Wharton.
Andri Gudjohnson, son of former Chelsea striker, Eidur, is Blackburn’s top scorer with six. He’s found the net three times in the last four and six times from the last eight games.
Oxford won when the sides last met in January, but that was a first victory in eight meetings. The U’s lost the reverse fixture at Ewood Park despite Mark Harris scoring a 35-yard screamer.
Rowett’s record against Rovers isn’t great, with six defeats from 13 meetings. All three of his wins came at home and by a 1-0 scoreline.
