Liverpool Confirm Summer Departure for Club 'Legend' - Andy Robertson

Liverpool Predicted Lineup vs Nottingham Forest for November 22

Liverpool return to Anfield needing a response, not a reaction. The international break has drawn a line under that humiliating 3-0 defeat at the Etihad, a performance that exposed a team unrecognisable from the one that lifted the Premier League trophy just months ago. The question now is whether the two week pause has allowed Arne Slot’s squad to reset mentally and physically, or whether the same fractures, especially at the back, will resurface. Anfield expects clarity, control and conviction. Nothing less. Here is our Liverpool predicted lineup.

Liverpool Predicted Lineup vs Nottingham Forest in Week 12 of the Premier League

Liverpool host Nottingham Forest in Week twelve of the Premier League, and the pressure is weighty. The champions have been inconsistent all season and the cracks have been most visible defensively. Ibrahima Konate’s form has been a glaring problem, with costly lapses undermining the structure and stability of a back line that once defined this team. With new signings still bedding in and confidence fragile, this match is an opportunity to reset momentum, or to fall further behind.

How Liverpool Have Lined Up Recently

Slot has persisted with a 4-2-3-1 structure, occasionally flexing into a 4-3-3 depending on the state of play. Virgil van Dijk and Konate have remained the first choice central pairing, though not without scrutiny. The midfield balance has typically featured Ryan Gravenberch alongside Alexis Mac Allister, with Dominik Szoboszlai occupying the advanced role. Up front, Mohamed Salah remains the anchor on the right, Alexander Isak is still struggling to find rhythm centrally, and Florian Wirtz is only beginning to show the flashes of creativity that justify his pedigree.

Recent Form

The form has been volatile. Liverpool have lacked consistency, control, and defensive conviction, and too many games have swung on avoidable moments. The three, nil loss to Manchester City before the international break was a low point, tactically naïve, emotionally flat, and miles off the standards expected. The break arrives at a critical point, but its value will only be measured by the response.

Team News & Injuries to Consider

Following the international break Liverpool have received the blow that both Florian Wirtz and Conor Bradley will be unavailable due to muscle injuries. With Jeremie Frimpong already sidelined with a hamstring injury, this leaves Arne Slot with no natural right back. Dominik Szoboszlai has deputised in the right back position in the past and may be called on again.  Slot, confirmed that Alisson Becker is fit and will start this weekend. Giovani Leoni remains a long term injury, with no change to his status. Andy Robertson pulled out of Friday’s training session, but has been confirmed to be available for selection against Forest.
