Team News, Form and Predicted Line-Up as Oxford United Welcome Millwall

Oxford United will be looking to capitalise on their recent away win at Sheffield Wednesday when the U’s welcome Millwall at Grenoble Road.

Gary Rowett’s side have two wins from their last three games but will be disappointed they failed to pick up more in the defeat at Wrexham given their upcoming fixtures.

Oxford United Welcome Millwall

Team News, Form and Predicted Line-Up

As for Millwall, they sit third in the Championship following a 1-0 win over Leicester last time out. The Lions have won four on the bounce, conceding just once, following a heavy defeat against Coventry at the start of October. Alex Neil’s side have only lost twice this season but remain unbeaten on the road.

Oxford could be without Brodie Spencer and Cameron Brannagan for this fixture with the duo being forced off through injury at Hillsborough. Matt Phillips is also sidelined.

The Lions are without first choice goalkeeper, Lukas Jensen, Danny McNamara, Steven Benda, Massimo Luongo and Josh Coburn.

The U’s have a good recent record against Millwall and are unbeaten in their last four meetings, including their first away win of last season at the Den on New Year’s Day. Oxford have only lost twice from the last eight meetings but both defeats came at Grenoble Road.

Gary Rowett, who managed the Lions for four years, has only lost once from five meetings when facing up against the South East London outfit. He is also yet to lose against an Alex Neil side, winning nine and drawing two of the 11 meetings.
